Universal Stop Text Command

Imagine after a long day at work, you come home, grab a beer and start surfing the web. On auto pilot, you accidentally click a button and all of a sudden you start receiving tons of text message spam. What do you do? Well, fortunately, there is a universal stop command that opts out unwanted solicitation. Just reply back to each unique address with the word, “STOP.” This will unsubscribe you from that mailing list. You should then receive an automatic free text message confirming that you are unsubscribed.

You can also call your wireless provider to notify them of the spam and omit any charges associated with those text messages.

Taking it a step further, if you feel your privacy has been violated, you can file a complaint with the FCC at:

Yes you can, CAN the SPAM!
