zmot zero moment of truth by google

Google introduced the term ZMOT, Zero Moment of Truth, to describe online decision-making – the marketing sweet spot between Stimulus (e.g. TV commercial) and First Moment of Truth (store shelf). According to Google, 50% of consumers today, search online before making a purchase. Not only do they look up information, they read and post reviews. Online conversations impact purchasing decisions. ZMOT gives more reason to having a website and internet presence that provide useful information, invoke action and stir conversation. Use your website to give consumers a compelling reason to buy your product or service, and talk about their experience.
